Meet the Team

Originally from New England, Ryan got his career start at the brisk age of 15. At that time he joined the cast of the local haunted attraction which grew into a 6 year long career in the Entertainment and Marketing Department of a wildly successful amusement attraction, Canobie Lake Park. Toward the end of that stint Ryan attended Johnson and Wales in Providence, Rhode Island where he majored in Sports, Entertainment and Event Management. During college Ryan would work for both the New England Revolution and the New England Patriots in their Marketing Department as well as continuing at Canobie Lake Park. Ryan graduated with both his BS as well as an MBA in Marketing then returning to school in 2022 for his MS in PR and Communications.

Since his departure from New England, Ryan has spent 5+ years at the Director Level for major sporting facilities, major home improvement companies as well as other agencies. Through all those experiences Ryan never quite thought any of the agencies he worked with did “it” quite right. That prompted him to start Big Bear Media in 2023 to help make sure companies everywhere have the chance to work with an agency that has their best interests in mind as well as gets the job done. When not helping clients, Ryan is the Head Coach for the Jacksonville Rugby Men’s contact team as well as a long time Rugby Player.
